Finding Petite Clothing can be such a chore!
Especially when you have no clue what each store contains.
Here is a breakdown and some info that may help you find
what you need fast!

• Ross
  Budget Designer Clothing. Department has small selection from size 0 to 12, but varies in each store. Most styles are geared towards the mature adult. Juniors has clothing that petite's can fit. Pants may need hemming however.
• Marshall's
  Budget Designer Clothing. Various styles can be found here. Most petite sizes are in the S, M, L rather than the actual size. Junior section also has some clothes that would fit petite sizes however the pants may be too long.
• TJ Maxx
  Budget Designer Clothing. Larger selection & styles. More printed shirts and sophisticated clothing. Petite department has sizes 0 to 12 (may also vary based on store). Junior department has lots of tops that would work for us. Pants may need hemming.
• Ann Taylor
  A bit pricy. Outlets available. Good for outerwear and work clothes. Sophisticated styles. Most sizes are a comfy fit. Outfits flattering for most figures. Great place for nice pants. Sizes 00 to 16. Also inseam measurements. Most may be dry clean only.
• Petite Sophisticate
  A bit pricy but can pretty much find everything here. Too bad the outlet seems like it's closing or at least that's what the rumor is.
• New York Company
  This is a great place to find the hip styles as well as pants at the right length. Prices are feasible. Love the sales & coupons online. Has petite size labeling and inseams.
• Forever 21
  Unique and sassy designs. Teen fashions. Eclectic prints.
  Small sizes that can fit petites. Pants  may need hemming. Sizes XS,S,M,L. Website gives detailed description of clothing.
• Nordstrom's
  Pricy. Outlets available. Lots of sophisticated and stylish fashions. Fine & lasting quality. 0P-14P. Inseams avail. Flattering to most figures. For young and mature adult. Junior department also has petite fitting sizes.
• Gap
  Simple, cozy styles. Sizes 00P-16P, XSP-XLP. Pants fit great. Any age range.
• Old Navy
  Simple, cozy styles. Sizes XS-XXL in petites or 0-20. Inseams avail.
• Macys
  Prices mid-high. Sizes P/XS-P/L. Sophisticated clothing for the modern woman. Juniors have sizes that petites can also fit into. Pants may need hemming.
• Banana Republic
  A bit pricy. Sophisticated type clothing for young or mature adult. XS-L
• Wal-Mart
  Budget. Last place you would think to have petite clothing, but guess what? They actually have jeans that specify Short Leg! No hemming girls!
• Athleta
  A bit pricy. Active wear clothing but also carries outerwear.
  Petite sizes 2-14.

Sometimes even a size small doesn't fit.

• Victoria Secret
  Have XS sizes. Decent prices. Lots of styles and free stuff when you buy a certain amount. Lots of coupons and things when you sign up on their mailing list.
• The Little Bra Company
  Flattering Lingerie & Bras for the smaller figure.
  Sizes 28A-36B. Online
• Lula Lu
  Sexy Lingerie & Bras online. Various sizes. Reasonable prices. Online.
• Itsy Bitsy Bra Bar
  Sexy Lingerie & Bras. Reasonable prices. Online.
• Sleepyheads
  Cute sleepwear for young to mature adults. Online.

Nothing feels better than a comfy pair of shoes.
Why settle when you can find a place that carries something made just for you?

• Petiteshoes.com
  Pricy. Shoes sized 4-5 1/2 only. Priced $98-$300. Online. Has Catalog. Not too big of a selection, but if you have a preference they may have it.
• Nordstrom
  Awesome selection of shoes to fit the smallest of feet. Lots of styles. Smallest size 3 1/2 or 4. Bunions? They even have wide petite shoes. A bit pricy, but well worth it.
• Shoebuy.com
  Online. Size as low as 1.5! Will find you any size, and width.
   

• Don't sell yourself short. No matter how tall you are.

• Go for the styles that don't "SCREAM!" and are more sophisticated but YOU. Add your own charm to the clothes/shoes. Don't be afraid of color. Just make sure it blends in together.

• Always remember: good things come in small packages! :)

• If you can't afford the expensive places, then go for the ones you can afford. I often shop at Walmart or Target and am able to find descent clothes. Sometimes I do hem my own pants, and the secret is to use Stitch Witchery tape! It's the fastest way to hem! Just cut the pants an inch longer. Turn them inside out. Then apply the tape and iron with steam. Viola! Instant hem!
